Solterra Resort gated community is ideally located, just 5 minutes off the I4 with easy access to the Parks - Disney can be reached in about 20 minutes (12 miles) , there are many Golf courses in the area and restaurants and shopping nearby. 


Included in your rental cost - a level short walk away from our homes - is the fabulous community pool area has a large beach entry heated pool, with slide, a Lazy River, there are cabanas and sun loungers, a spa and a covered sitting area for when the sun gets too warm.

There is an outdoor kitchen and inside the club house you will find a TV, more luxury seating area. The Pool Cafe Bar is now open for daytime refreshments.  Pool side activities and Evening events are posted at the Club House.

Further facilities include a kiddie play area, Tennis and Volly Ball court - for those who want to keep up with their fitness routines the Gym is fully equipped and air conditioned.


Solterra is a  favourite with our guests - our villas with private pool are overlooking conservation and are a real home away from home.


Champions Gate with shops, publix supermarket and an increasing number of eateries is only 5 minutes away.  Favourites are Millers, Chillis, First Watch, Panera Bread, you will also find Wendys, Italian, Tai, Chinese, Mexican, so you wont be sort of somewhere to eat!  New arrivals on the junction of I4 are Olive Garden and Longhorn steakhouse, Fords Garage coming soon.


Busch Gardens is just over an hour away and the beaches another 30 minutes.  Kennedy Space Centre around an hour & Lego Land is around 40 minutes.


 Inside the Solterra Resort air conditioned clubhouse there is a gym with state of the art workout equipment which is free to use. There is also a lounge with comfy sofas, dining tables, HDTV, breakfast bar and small kitchen area. An ideal area to sit, read a book and relax while the kids play in the pool.

For kids there is a play area which has slides, climbing frames and is sand based so easy on the feet. If you feel like a game of Tennis the courts are free to use but you will need your own balls and racket.

Solterra Resort is close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets at Champions Gate or Reunion Resort. As well as minutes from the Orlando attractions via the I4. If you are flying in to Orlando then the Solterra Resort is only 30 minute from Orlando International Airport. With Sandford Airport about an hour and Tampa about 1 hr 15 mins.


SOLTERRA RESORT NEARBY SHOPS

The Solterra Resort is located just off HWY54 in Davenport and is close to Champions Gate, Posner Park and Reunion. Each of these areas has shops, supermarkets and restaurants so you are never far from anything. For shopping head to Posner Park as this is the nearest shopping mall  - just a short 10 minute drive - which has a cinema, Target and many other stores including  JC Penny, Bath and Body Works, Best Buy, Home Goods, and many more. 

 Other nearby places include Celebration which has lots of restaurants and independent boutiques. Great place for lunch and a walk around the lake.

The Town Tavern is great for food and atmosphere.

You are also not far from HWY192 which is the main road that links Davenport to Kissimmee and has hundreds of shops, restaurants and other attractions.


SOLTERRA RESORT NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Below is a list of Orlando attractions and how far away they are from the Solterra Resort. These are actual distances to the car parks rather than to the edge of the Disney property which is how most people quote times. We want to give you a realistic time, Disney has a 30 square mile site so once you reach the edge of the property you can still have a 10 minute drive to get to the car parks. We have also included Busch Gardens in Tampa.

GOLF COURSES NEAR SOLTERRA RESORT ORLANDO

There are lots of golf courses near the Solterra Resort but here are just a few that I would recommend. You can normally book on there personal websites or by calling the pro shops which is sometimes best if the weather is looking a bit unsettled. If you book online you can't normally cancel, but if call and book over the phone they don't normally ask for payment upfront. If the weather is looking good also check www.golfnow.com as they often have last minute Hot deals and you can get some very cheap rates.


DIRECTION TO SOLTERRA RESORT ORLANDO

More than likely you will be driving to Solterra Resort via Interstate 4 so below are the very simple directions from Interstate 4. We have also added driving direction from Orlando International Airport, Sandford and Tampa airports so you won't get lost after a long flight.

East Bound: Take I-4 Exit 55 and go south on Highway 27. Turn right on Heller Brothers Blvd. Then right on Ernie Caldwell Blvd. Then left on Pine Tree Trail. Solterra Resort will be on the right.

West Bound: Take Exit 58 at Champions Gate. Go right on Champions Gate Blvd. Turn Left on Ronald Reagan Parkway and then right on Pine Tree Trail. Solterra Resort will be on the left.
